1. Introduction
The PEGGA application, developed and operated by Toralle Lda (hereinafter "Toralle"), is a productivity tool for ride-hailing (TVDE) drivers in Portugal. This Privacy Policy explains how PEGGA handles its users' information.
Privacy by design: PEGGA is built with a local-first architecture. All ride data, statistics, goals and settings are stored exclusively on your device. Toralle does not operate servers that store your ride data.
2. Accessibility Service Usage
PEGGA uses Android's Accessibility Service as its core functionality. This permission is required to:
- Read ride proposal screens displayed by the Uber and Bolt driver apps
- Extract numerical values (price, distance, estimated time) using OCR text recognition
- Calculate profitability metrics (€/km and €/hour)
- Display a colored overlay card with the analysis result
What the Accessibility Service does NOT do:
- Does NOT interact with other apps beyond reading Uber/Bolt ride proposals
- Does NOT click, tap, or modify any content on screen
- Does NOT collect personal information, passwords, or messages
- Does NOT access data from any app other than Uber and Bolt driver apps
- Does NOT transmit screen content to external servers
No personal data is collected through the Accessibility Service. All processed data remains locally on the device.
3. Data Processed
PEGGA processes the following types of information, always locally on your device:

Non-Veiklo users: If you are not part of a Veiklo/TVDE Smart fleet, PEGGA transmits zero data to any external server. Everything stays on your device.
4. Permissions Used
Accessibility Service — Reads Uber and Bolt ride proposals on screen for automatic profitability analysis. Not used to collect personal information.
Camera — Exclusively for the dashcam feature. Recordings are stored only on the device.
Display over other apps — Shows the evaluation overlay on top of Uber and Bolt apps.
Notifications — Goal alerts, active shift warnings, and document expiry reminders.
Biometrics — Optional. Protects app access via fingerprint or facial recognition.
5. Data We Do NOT Collect
- GPS location or geolocation data
- Contacts, messages, or call logs
- Personal accounts, passwords, or banking data
- Data from applications other than Uber and Bolt
- Personal information of passengers
- Browsing data or browser history
- Advertising identifiers
- Analytics or tracking data
PEGGA contains no advertising, no tracking SDKs, and no third-party data collection frameworks.
6. Data Sharing
Toralle does not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes.
The only external communication occurs when a Veiklo fleet driver validates their license: validation data (email, phone, NIF, plate, device ID) is sent via HTTPS to the Veiklo API exclusively for license verification. This data is not used for any other purpose.
7. Data Security
- Exclusively local storage, protected by Android sandboxing
- Optional biometric authentication for app access
- External communications via HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
- Code obfuscation (ProGuard/R8) against reverse engineering
- Automatic removal of debug logs in production
- The app does not perform cloud backups of ride data
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Since data is stored locally on your device:
- You can delete all data at any time in the app: More → System → Clear Data
- Uninstalling the app automatically removes all local data

9. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Access — All your data is visible directly in the app
- Rectification — Edit your data in the app settings
- Erasure — Delete all data via Clear Data or uninstall.
- Portability — Your data is on your device and under your control
- Objection — You can stop using the Veiklo validation at any time
10. Children's Privacy
PEGGA is a professional tool intended for licensed ride-hailing (TVDE) drivers. The application is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes to This Policy
Toralle may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated revision date.
